Herrington Excavating was founded in 1976 by George (Bud) Herrington. It was a one-man show with two pieces of equipment. In 1986 with only the intention of helping with college funds, his son Lonnie joined the business. After college, Lonnie became a partner with his father. In 2013, Lonnie and his wife Kim bought Herrington Excavating Inc. 

 

The family's focus continued on quality work and knowledgeable experience resulting in Residential and Commercial teams that work with general contractors and builders to serve our communities. In 2022, the company expanded to include a Directional Drilling Team. This new team utilizes the latest technologies to allows for minimal lawn disruption and quick, efficient services. With the opportunity to add a master plumber to our company in 2023, yet another expansion resulted in the addition of a Plumbing Team. To better show the variety of work we do, Herrington Excavating, which has been a trusted name since 1976, then became Herrington Inc.
